PROTEC17 stands in solidarity with the farm workers who harvest flowers in the Skagit Valley fields after their call for better pay and working conditions ahead of the famous spring tulip festival. Along with a three-day picket from March 22-24, workers voted to form a union with Familias Unidas por la Justicia, and are now negotiating with management at Washington Bulb Company.
You can read more about the farmworkers and their new union here: https://labornotes.org/2022/
