A Conversation with the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, Lonnie Bunch

Secretary Lonnie Bunch, founding director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, will be NAAM’s virtual keynote speaker this Black History Month. In 2019, Secretary Bunch became the nation’s first African American Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution.  Secretary Bunch will discuss the past, present, and future of Black history. Dr. Quintard Taylor, University of Washington’s Professor Emeritus of History and founder of BlackPast.org, will moderate.
