Join at Pierce County Central Labor Council’s Labor Day memorial ceremony for the late Ralph Chaplin (1887-1961), a longtime labor activist, poet, author, organizer, and songwriter who wrote the famous “Solidarity Forever”. The ceremony will be a time to sing labor’s songs, share stories of bitter struggles and hard-won achievements, as well as strengthen our collective fight for workplace justice for all.
